Jacobs Ridge Condominiums

I was contracted by the Real Estate Bus.Group, LLC to design a logo for a condiminium project. The design had to match the style of an existing logo used on a sister project in a different part of the city. I did several variations on this theme. This was the final selection.
The Real Estate Bus. Group, LLC

The owner of this real estate firm was a client of mine in personal fitness training. At the time she was beginning to branch out from her parent company and develop her own unique brand in the industry. One idea she employed was to make use of several VW Busses that would have decals representing the business. She wanted to incorporate that into the logo for use on letterhead, business cards and envelopes.
Academic Solutions Inc., of Milwaukee, WI

A husband and wife team, the focus of this small business was on tutoring and evaluating children with special needs. This involved working with the child directly, their parents and the school system to assess their abilities and determine the best strategies for the child's learning. The logo was designed specifically for their brochures and website. They had a specific font in mind when I began and asked that I maintain consistency with their existing material. I cued in on the idea of growth and development. Trees are often symbolic of these things.
WEKAF USA - Logo Redesign

The original logo (top) for this organization was more than a bit dated, and the number of low-resolution copies being used in print material at the time was astounding. I offered to bring the design up to date, with an improved color scheme, a cleaner design and to do it in vector format so it would be scalable to both web and print use at any size. It has since been adopted for use in much of the print material for the organization's events.
Letha Yoga Logo

My school offers a wide variety of courses, one of which is a study of the Healing Arts. This includes massage practices like Shiatsu, and also different types of Yoga. Some of the traditions that we support are Burmese systems of exercise. The first one we practiced was a partner-based system of stretching and alignment. A major concept in this system is the development of compassion for your partner. This tradition is influenced by Indian and Tibetan Buddhism. The characters just below the hand are a Buddist prayer for compassion. The outer circle shape is common in Indian sculpture.
Cyganiak Planning, Inc.

When I was working as an agency web designer, I was given the task of redesigning the website of an insurance company in Wisconsin. I took the opportunity to design their logo as well. It is still in use today, several years after the fact.
Bodyworks Intergrated Healing Arts

This logo is part of the brand identity I use to represent the school and my seminars in these systems. It features prominently on the school's website, in the printed material distributed at the seminars that I teach, and on student apparel.
Thai Yoga Massage Logo

Thai Massage is similar to Letha Yoga and may have a related origin, given the proximity of Thailand to Burma. The script below the central shape is ancient Thai for "healing touch" and has a great deal of cultural signifigance. The shapes used and the flower design are cultural motifs that are common in Thai monastaries, one place where this art is kept alive and thriving.
Tui-na Anfa Logo

Tui-Na is one of the primary systems in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Our Bodyworks program is greatly influenced by some of the concepts and strategies employed in this system.
